Clinical Nutrition Management of:

  • Tube feeding
  • Medical or developmental diagnoses
    that impact nutrition status
Pediatric Nutrition
Children don't need to start "dieting," they need to correct their eating behaviours for optimal growth
Everyday Nutrition:
  • Research has shown the putting children on rigid "diets" does more harm than good.
  • Contrary to popular belief, strict food rules don't work either.
  • They may end up with disordered eating, an unhealthy relationship with food and a negative body image.
  • Instead, parents need to be involved in creating a nutrient-rich environment; while children are required to be patiently taught how to get back in touch with their natural body cues.
  • They need to be engaged in positive conversations about food, exercise and their bodies. This leads to them being of an appropriate weight while enjoying all kinds of foods.
